The Nissan GT-R did not follow traditional year to year sales starting dates like most cars. Normally in the US we see production year /model year start in the September before the model year, ie Sept 09 would be a 2010 model.* Some cars don’t adhere to this rule, and overseas they normally go by calendar year.
